CHARACTER

The Sheriff isn’t willing to do anything really dangerous in his job. Not the type to forgive and forget. He gets dynamite thrown into his office.

COMMENTS

One assumes that the wig is to better match JB with the Spanish stunt double who gets blown out of the Sheriff’s office by the dynamite.

COSTUME

Western leather vest, with sheriff’s star, boots, and gunbelt accoutrements.

JB’s in a wig for this role --straight hair (black with some gray), center part, slicked down, also mustachios and little tuft of beard.

CRITICS

"…a pleasant little treat for fans of horse opera… It’s not quite a romp, but neither is it gritty enough to make a big impression as a great example of the genre." Hollywood Reporter, 1/22/1999.

LINES

"You want my help? You make a fool outta me in front of the mayor and the town and now you want my help? I don’t see why I should be so lathered up to give it."

"My deputies have been afflicted with a streak of yellow."

Filmed in Spain.
