LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE "Darkness is My Friend" (TV episode)
PLOT
Charles Ingalls poses as a doctor in order to free his daughters who are being held prisoner on a dark and stormy night in a school for the blind by a trio of escaped convicts.
CREDITS
REGULAR CAST
GUEST CAST
BAD GUY
Jed, Jake, and Abel are escaped convicts. Jed shoots a guard, they invade the Ingalls home during their escape and threaten the girls. The Ingalls are a match for them, of course. Charles punches him in the jaw and knocks him out, and Laura hits him over the head with a lamp.
CHARACTER
Jed has a "Western" accent. He is aggressive, but a bit dim and worries about his wounded cousin. JB has as nice scene when he cradles his wounded cousin and strokes his face. Does a good fall when hit on head.
COSTUME
Typical TV Western style clothes, including long johns and homespun shirt, and the necessary hat and boots.
LINES
"It's gonna be all right, boy."
"What took you so long, girl?"
"Keep working, Doc."
(Do we see a pattern here, folks?)
